Controlled, control, independent, dependent variables in a plant experiment?

My problem is How much does the amount or type of light plants receive affect how well they grow? One cup is in a box, a cabinet, on a sunny windowsill, and on a table in front of the windowsill. It gets little amounts of water every 2-3 days. Help?Controlled, control, independent, dependent variables in a plant experiment?
Control: One plant with no change to it.

Independent: Amount or type (choose only one) of light

Dependent: The height of the plant after you varied the amount or type of light.

Constants: type of plant, amount of water. etc.
