Control group, independent/dependent variable?

any help appreciated:

An experiment is conducted to increase the productivity of workers. Two groups of 25 people are selected and split into two groups: Group 1 and Group 2. A specific task is set up for both groups doing the same task. A ';special'; drink is given to Group 1 and not Group 2. Group 1 took four hours to complete the task while group 2 took three hours.

Control Group:

Independent Variable:

Dependent Variable:

Conclusion:

How can the experiment be improved:Control group, independent/dependent variable?
The control group is group 1 and group II

The independant variable is the two groups are made up of workers all with talent to do the job .

the dependent variable is the special drink

The conclusion is that if a group drinks this special drink they will take longer to do the task and therefore are less productive than the group who did not have the special drink .

It might be a better evaluation if you gave group 1 the special drink and gave group II a placebo ( water for example) and marked it

special drink . Then compare the results to come up with a conclusion about the special drink .

Hopr this helps you . Good luck and God bless
